On Monday i got my racket back from racket central strung with micro power at 22 pounds of tension. Then the string started to move around a lot when i did smashes and then one time the bird got stuck in the strings and my question is, is this normal, and i only did like 6 smashes.
absolutely not normal, almost impossible the bird get stuck even for 18lbs. better change the stringer next time
hahaha i would love to see that P.S. their is no way thats 22 Lbs i would go to that stringer and A: Get your money back B: Get him to redo it C: Get a new stringer D: all of the above haha
I gotten a shuttle stuck in my string before, but that was when the string broke on that smash shot. People were laughing because they didn't know where the bird was until they noticed.
wow, this is the first time that I heard you can get a shuttle stuck on to your racket without cutting the string.
OKay that is freaking weird !!! Get back to the stringer and get another re-string.. 22lbs is pretty tight already..no way that it can get stuck in your racket!!
With the job quality like that, i will just ask for refund or store credit. I will surely take the racket to a reputable stringer to get the string job done.
if its a true 22lb stringjob and the bird caught on the string bed without breaking... it'd be as imperssive as the vitmainwater commerical
i've had a racket strung there and i thought they did a great job. the only time i've ever seen a shuttle get stuck in a racket stringbed is when the string is broken.
I assume most stringers working in big chains are part time. Therefore, if your racket got into hand with someone who knows what s/he is doing, good for you. If not, good luck...
