That picture tells the whole story. They're both slumped in dejection in sync. Brilliant. I hope they challenge strongly for the upcoming WC; they're one of the stronger non-CHN pairs and currently in good form.

Is it true that these two are not joining the world championships in Malaysia?

Cheng/Chien (NOT YU/WEN, which some ppl seem to think their names are abbreviated...cmon, their names are just like any other Asian names) have also been Swiss Open runners up before and a billion times quarter and semi finalists. They did exceptionally well in last years edition of the Uber Cup. They've beaten pairs like Lee/Lee of Korea, Chin/Wong of Malaysia, Zhang/Wei of China, Ogura/Shiota of Japan, Jiang/Li of Singapore, Saralee/Sathinee of Thailand (not going to spell out their last names for obvious reasons)...etc, etc. The only pairs they havent quite figured out yet are Gao/Huang and Yang/Zhang, Du/Yu, and now Yang/Zhao. They've beaten all the other China WD pairs (Zhang/Pan at ABC, Cheng/Zhao at ABC and Pan/Qing at the Phillipine Open). Cheng Wen-Hsing and Tsai Chia-Hsin have also beaten Zhang/Gao in MXD at the All-England. Shes doing pretty well with Fang now...and Tsai and Hu are a force to be reckoned with in MD. Overall, i would say Taiwan's badminton team has a come a long way. TAIWAN PRIDE WOOT!
