I have been playing badminton for a few years and today I purchased some racquets for cheap. 2 x Armotec 700 1 x nanospeed 8400 1 x nanospeed 50000 how doi i know its the real thing. it says its made in japan
if it is new and it is really cheap, like less than 50% of retail price, then most likely they are fake.
oh, and of course, nanospeed 8400 and nanospeed 50000 are not models from Yonex. so they have to be fake.
There are lots of posts in the the forums about how to spot fakes you can research this up. As for pricing, go to a Yonex authorized dealer (either online store or shop) and look at their prices.
I am going thru the yonex web page & came across the article how to spot a fake. i am convinced that tha nanospeed 8400 & 50000 are fake but the armotec looks like the real deal. the engraved serial # & the correct logo
fake? do not buy it in a hurry cause it is super cheap. scout around, check around stores the same exact model. any difference of cosmetic etc... just never do greedy.
The serial # is engraved too. The logo is correct too. Does any one know who manufacture these fakes. There is a rumour that its done by an authorised dealer. Sorry, I cannot mention the dealer for my own safety but most players knows the source and is fully aware of it.
Both the engrave and serials are incorrect just by looking at the picture (look at the fine details). The engrave also does not look like a laser engrave either.
