    my friend had tension of 25 with this racket and he hit a smash and the head broke, and i have one too what tension should i have on my nano9k?

    i broke mine at 24lbs it was prob strung wrong like mine was.

    25lb is fine for NS9000. Make sure it is 25lb, not 25kg.

    For both,
    If the racquet is still in warranty, tae it back to the shop and explain it to the shop and ask for RMA replacement.

    quit being paranoid! I string mine to 30lbs and no problems so far

    Same here . . . 30 lbs X 33 lbs constant pull from a drop weight.

    I have gone upto 27 LBS and no issues so far!!!!

    From personal experience I can tell that quality from different batches may vary to the extremes..

    Also any imperfections in quality, manufacturing defects etc. would of course also be more "visible" on a 3U than a 2U etc...

    So the sum up basically is..

    We KNOW NS9KX/2U and NS9KX/3U CAN be used with 35lbs or so (some pros use that)..

    We also KNOW there are no guarantees if you string a 9000X 3U above 24lbs.. It's up to the Yonex distributors goodwill in that case, if it breaks.

    ohh nice.. must invest alot on string machine. i looking to buy one and do stringing my self but too expensive.
