You can try Mueller Stickum. Been using it for around two weeks and the results are pretty good

Try applying talcum powder which is the main ingredient of baby powder or somethings contain talcum powder. It is quite dry (tacky?) with a little moisture on hands. Baby powder is also easy to get and a lot cheaper.
I ve tried chalk powder(...) , quite slippy.

U can try those powders that are sold in pharmacy for absorbing excess moisture. I got mine in a Pharmacy in Singapore named " ZeaSORB Absorbent Powder". I have been using them for a year plus on my towel grips and they work real fine. But i am not sure if they are available in your country. Good Luck.:D
