Re: OT: The Brainwashing Continues Hey try out all other brands B4 u come to YONEX, carlton and nonsense!
Re: OT: The Brainwashing Continues I think blaine said the MAIN brands, meaning the more popular brands, carlton would maybe be there
<8-[ ] I always thought Slazenger is a tennis brand... It is part of Dunlop-Slazenger group which produces tennis equipment, but have a division named Carlton for badminton eq. Am I not right?
Re: OT: The Brainwashing Continues Sorry I dont think so can you name any one that is top 30 in the world that plays with slazenger i cant and i dont know if u are a good player and what you play with, but slazenger dose not make any high end rackets and all i was saying is that yonex, black knight, forza, wilson have always made the better racket
Hey Guys, Slazenger is perfectly fine for a beginner's racquet. Who knows, maybe this guy is a beginner. I saw a couple Slazenger's at Canadian Tire and they weren't bad at all. For a low end racquet they were pretty light.
Re: OT: The Brainwashing Continues That was an awful argument. You just appealed to popularity to which racquets are the best. It does not necessarily mean that if no one in the top 30 uses a specific brand, it does not really mean that the brand is unusuable. Give a good reason besides popularity that Slazenger is a brand not worth noting.
Re: OT: The Brainwashing Continues i saw a couple of their racquets on the website, unfortunately there is absolutely no information on how to get one here in western Canada to demo. the problem is that the low end are selling at canuck tire, and that drums up the image of low end in peoples minds. the racquets i saw on their website looked good, but there is not enough info on them to make a buying decision...
