So I bought an old ti-10 but it came with a g4 sized grip instead of g5. It's not that much of a difference but it's noticeable and I'm much more comfortable using the smaller grip. Is there any way to make the grip smaller?

    sumbadder,

Where did you get it from and is there a possibility that you could exchange it to a G5?

you can always try sandpapering the wooden grip down a few mm to make it thinner. i'm not sure i would recommend that though, unless you know exactly what you're doing.

if you're in malaysia, i would suggest going to your local badminton stringer and asking them to do it for you, a lot of them are able to make such modifications.

This is quite popular with the pro players. They get off the original grip and add a layer of either towel grip or overgrap.

With sandpaper it will take to long. Three weeks ago i try sandpaper, then i take a carpet knife and sliced circa 1mm from each of the 8 surfaces, it's quite easy. So from G3 i have by now G5 i think.

    Till now it's all ok :D but i'm a bit wary:D:D:D
(i did this on a 3 years old mp 22 witch i use regularly).

I'm a bit sure of the getting the wood down by sanding because the wood is a certain thickness which is fixed on all grip sizes for a reason. Sanding it down too thin could compromise the handle.
