Yonex's 3D socks...?
While I was in Badminton Hub shopping for my polo and shorts, I came across Yonex's "3D" socks.
From the packaging, they're supposed to help alleviate toe compression by molding the sock to the natural shape of the toes (i.e. the big toe side is longer than the pinkie toe side). It goes without saying that there's a dedicated "left" and "right" sock with these things.
The principle does seem sound, and anything to help against crushed toenails is a bonus in my book. Anyone tried them yet?

I just want to say, Yonex has very good marketing dept. They just sold something that is 95% marketing and 5% science with <1% actually work to you. Get the Yonex socks with rubber bumps. Those are the best.
I will get yell at bcause of this post...

socks are cotton...they won't protect your toenails in the least...
And yonex isn't the first to do that 'trick':
-I've got some Nike tennissocks made out of polyester (very thin) which fits tighly around the middle of my feet. The parts around the heel and my toes are thickened with cotton.
-Sotx's socks do exactly the same thing, whith elastic materials around the arch of my foot, gerat support..
-I saw socks by babolat and falks (Falk, Falwks, something like that) which all did the same thing...
just make sure, for yourself, wether you would buy the socks if they were nót made by yonex...

i agree actually, i think the amount of 'technology' which goes into socks is more than slightly over-rated. i'm sure it does make a difference, but it's very marginal and most of us won't even notice it much. if you did a blind test wearing normal socks and these 3d yonex ones to play badminton for 2 hours or so, i doubt you'd be able to say for certain which was better.
