I just worned out my yonex oem insoles and I was thinking about buying the superfeet green insole. The only problem is it costs about 45 with tax down here in vancouver. So I was thinking if Dr.Sholl Insoles are worth it? As for comfort, cushion, durability comparing to the superfeet green's.If I do get them I'll probably get these http://www.drscholls.com/product.aspx?prodid=82

    Thank you.:)

I don't think squishy kind of insoles would be good for badminton.

The Superfeet Green are cheapest at Mountain Equipment. $35+tax if I remember correctly.

those dr sholls will be destroyed in notime i remember 1st time i ever wore out my insles i got a pair and it said for racquet sports yeah no not gonna work at all they get destroyed so fast they lasted me 3 days of playing. Super green feet or any of the series (blue or orange) are the best way to go i have my super feet orange right now in my 99 le's and will be putting a pair into my 100's soon too. Dr sholls dont even come close to super feet. Good luck getting a pair of insoles that work for you.

The ones I have right now are still going strong after 1.5 year, playing twice a week (3 times during the cold months), 2 hours each time.

That's because they are the same company... same company as Coast Mountain Sports and I believe Champ Sports.

MEC seems to be clearing out the XL and XS sizes. Almost looks like they won't carry them anymore.

I guess now it's not superfeet green's or Dr.Sholl's insoles. My parents decided to get me customized insoles. Yes I do know it's expensive but the only problem is I don't know where to get these customized insoles. If anyone has any info on it please post some info. Thanks. I currently wear customized orthos-it's an insert that goes from the hell to about your arch.

The same place you got your orthos should be able to make full insoles for you. So what condition are you trying to fix with the orthos?

Not sure about if they make full insoles-according to my dad. I think I should re-explain-sorry about it pedro22 about the bad explain. Currently I wear the yonex oem insoles in my badminton shoes. Thing is I worned a hole and I need a new pair of insoles. I was planning to get the superfeet green insoles but then my parents told me to get customized insoles. The orthos I wear are not full insoles-they're the kind you slip in your shoes like an insert except is customed made.:D Again sorry about the bad explaining on my first post.

Hey no problem. You actually explained it pretty well in your previous post and I understood what you meant. Maybe it's because I have foot problems myself and I know about orthos.

If the place you got your orthos doesn't make full ortho insoles, then check with other places that make orthos.

BTW, when your parents told you to get custom insoles, did they understand that you could wear them down like you did your OEM insoles and they could be spending a couple of hundred bucks again in a few months time to get you new custom insoles?

Lol yes..I told them if I wear them down they it'll be a few hundred. I guess they don't mind. I tried finding other places that did custom insoles, so far I can't find a place.:( I remembered there was a store at metrotown. Near futureshop-I'll try that place next time I past by and hopefully they do custom insoles.

from my experience, those custom insole with leather top, are very durable close to impossible to wear down.
