Has anyone thought of extending their racket's length? Like from a Isometric to a Nanospeed length? I wanna know how. thanks
yup...........it was my pet project before even long version was introduced. Made it extra extra stiff too
do you hold the racquet as far down on the handle as possible? if not, then just slide your hand down a centimeter. thats how much longer a nanospeed is compared to the old isometric models anyhow. 68cm vs 67cm. if you already do that, the trouble might be more than its worth. perhaps you can replace the grip with a long style grip. short style examples are AT700 or Ti10, while long style examples are NS8000, AT800. another option (which is what i'd recommend instead, and would much rather do myself), maybe work on our footwork or racquet preparation and such, making them even better, which will extend our court coverage by an extra inch, which surely beats that extra centimeter of reach on our racquet.
take off butcap, glue 1cm of wood to the grip, staple back butcap? why would anybody want to? Play with a 700mm racket or someting?
that's illegal isn't it? i thought the badminton laws state that the racquet cannot be more than 685 mm or something ...
680, and yes. Not only is it illegal, you'll completly mess up your timing and shots... never to mention horrible defence...I though 680mm rackets were mroe than a handfull...
Shifting your grip point is more than enough to make a couple of centemeters diference without breaking any rules.
