Default Iskandar and Jonathan Lee lost in 3 games in BD U17

I was there in the afternoon and managed to witness a good match between Malaysians Iskandar and Jonathan Lee against their Thai counterparts Maneepong Jongjit and Pollawat Boonpan. The latter won 23-32, 14-21 and 21-11 to face their compatriots Nattanan Tansanga and Pisit Poodchalat in the semi-finals at 9.30 pm tonight.

It might as well be as Iskandar, who is seeded No 3, will feature again the the BS semi-finals against Airie Guna Dharma of Indonesia. Iskandar will need to draw on his reserves to overcome Dharma. The other BS U17 will be an all Thai affair between Poodchalat (4) and Jongjit.

Default Indonesian coach helping Singaporean youths

I was surprised to see a familiar Indonesian 'veteran' coaching Huang Chao and Febriyan Irvannaldy of Singapore in the BD U17 against Indonesians Seto Danu Kusuma and Tony Tan. The Singaporeans won 21-19, 21-17 in 22 min to enter the semi-finals tonight.

No prize for guessing the name of this Indonesian coach.

Looks like Indonesian will eventually close to sapuing all the events. Very strong kids. U know who their coaches are? Guess.
