Hey guys. I'm a badminton newbie here and want to get start on it. I know there are clubs out there that I can rent the court or do the drop-ins. However, I'm a little bit worried if my skill level is way too low to play even in the drop-in's game. Wondering what's the level at most drop-in's? Have you guys seen any newbie (a real newbie, with very raw skills) plays in the drop-in's?

    Thanks

Absolutely correct! You have to take turns every 15 minutes if it is a busy night though.

i just looked at lee's forum, and found this...
    b. Only GUM RUBBER SOLE INDOOR BADMINTON SHOES are allowed on courts. Court renters must show badminton court shoes to Lee's Club staff at the front desk before entering any courts

so... what if i dont have indoor madminton shoes? will they allow normal running shoes?

Here in NY, we pay US$25 per session (3-4 hours) for crappy HS gyms, about 50+ ppl waiting for 5-6 courts. So...

    I am willing to take $3 x $4 deals any time. :p
