INA is doing its Under-16 selection right now...

Rischa Meissiani is one of INA's top shuttlers in the GS Under-16 category. I expect her to be one of INA's representatives... :D She's quite cute... Rischa is from Manado, like the recently crowned XD World Champion, Lily Natsir...

I agree that Evert Sukamta is argueably the best Under-16 INA BS now. So he deserves it. I see Rischa, Gebby, and Ayu are in. That's fair enough. They were either in the Winners or the Runner Ups of so many Under 16 Circuits this year. I keep seeing their 3 names again and again. I am not very aware of Elizabeth... maybe you know better, Sandy...

Suci, Tiara, Della, and Aulia are also pretty well known...

Some well known players weren't in squad are
Rena Suwarno (Jaya Raya) and Riyanto Subagja (Djarum)

I did't see Elizabeth's play yet, but she won in Bandung Circuit, her club is Mutiara Bandung, looked like a boy, I thaught she came from Maluku but her last name "PURWANINGTYAS" is Javanese name.

    Elizabeth from Maluku?

Ah yes, Rena and Riyanto... I don't know what happened. I guess PBSI didn't see them as 'potential' enough. :p

What? Elizabeth is the short boyish looking girl from Maluku?!? She is very very very short...!  PBSI picked her? She's 145cm or something? Surely shorter than the net...

I admit Elizabeth played 'pretty' badminton. ;) Lots of trick shots that remind us fans of her club seniors -Iie Sumirat and Taufik Hidayat. But once she has to play against a very tall opponent like that Djarum girl [what's her name? The 175cm-something girl...?] who defeated her in the Jakarta Circuit... she was just outmanouvered... Her tall opponent was not as 'tricky' as Elizabeth and just played a plain game, yet Elizabeth could not cover the court anymore. Just outsized... :p

KOR vs. CHN in the Girl's Team finals? Hope not... INA vs. CHN will be nice...

Uh oh... Korea? Then I suppose I can expect around a 45% chance of INA making it to the finals against China in the Girl's team... :p

Boy's Team I think we have a 60%-70% chance of winning against Thailand... I am predicting like this based on past performance of our Juniors and Seniors... :p

According to the website, in the boy's team,
China beat Malaysia 2-1 in the semifinal while Thailand ends up as the team champion, beating China 2-1. For the girl's category, China edged Korea 2-0 in the final.
