    Hi everyone!!

I was wondering weather you guys could help me..?
    I'm upgrading from a mp88 to a ns9k-s the problem is weather i should get a 2U or a 3U...
I have only tried the 2U, which is great, but i was wondering if the 3U would suit me better... unfortunately i am not able to try out the 3U :(

I don't wanna go for the 8000 or the 7000 because they didn't give me enough power (to ligth / head light).

By the way, i am a 17 year old boy who plays at a semi-advanced level.

Have any one tried both of them and are wants to give an recomendation on one of them??

    Thanks
    pixi

IMO go for the 3u. Having a NS9k-S 2u doesnt really give you that much more power. If you wanted more power then 2u NS9k-X ;]

    2U 9000-S is way better than 3Us.
2U 9000-X is slow on defence. ( of course it will be excellent if U can handle the stiffness and weight)
2U 9000-S is heavy and with a shaft not too stiff.
It makes a good combo for all-round performance.
By the way, 2U 9000-S is way more durable than 3Us.

Even compared with latest AT900-P or AT900-T, 2U 9000-S still has it's position. ( 2U 9000-S is the only NS9000 model remaind in my bag after I got 3U AT900s)

the difference to me between 3U and 2U is this:
    are you a wristy -> 3U
are you a player that uses more arm -> 2U
    3U improves more defense
    2U improves more Offense
(but that dosen't mean the 3U is all about def i have a type S 3U and i think its the best one)
    X is to stiff.
2U a little more power but i find i get better accuracy and defense using 3U and i mean its lighter so i can really swing fast and powerful too. very solid racket

I switch between various 2U and 3U racquets, and they both feel the same. :D

well, 3U's ar 85-89 grams, and 2U's are 90-94 grams
    Statistically, it's very possible you just have a 89gram 3U and a 90gram 2U...

5-10grams really are worlds apart, but between 2U and 3U it's actually more of a lotery at 0-9grams difference...

The 3U had 2 layers of overgrip on...so. It doesnt' really matter for me though. Unless I'm using a 4U headlight racquet...

i've posted before that I have a 2U and 3U NS900S that weigh exactly the same, but the 2U definitely feels heavier because its head-heavier than the 3U.

Anyway, if 3U NS9000S is too headlight for you, 3U NS7700 may be a better alternative. Don't get into the numbers game and think that 9000 is better than 7700 just because it's a bigger number :)

IMO, i feel that the NS7700 reaches its "limit" quite easily. Being a medium flex and slightly head heavy does make it easier too smash but if you have the right technique, its power will reach its limit easily. You would be better off with the NS9k-S than the NS7700. But then again thats my opinion =)

AT700 has been out of consideration since the publication of AT900-P.

Only problem is not everyone can properly use the At900-P as it is head heavy and being stiff. Id still choose the At700 over the At900P

    Thanks for the advice everyone!!

I just ordered the 3U, since i'm a wristy player type..:)

I'll post my review of it compared to the 2U, when i get it.

Looking forward to be playing with it!
