For me is the back hand my fore hand is perfect but due to my coach only training my forehand my backhand is my ultimate weakness

all of them are easy for me except one: backhand clear. im an athlete (15 year old) from indonesia and i can cover about only 3/4 of the court. Other techniques that requires the use of backhand is no big deal to me except for that backhand clear.

yea backhand clear is a difficult shot to master. most difficult for beginner i must say. furthermore, it will be ultra difficult when we want to perform it not on training but on a game. summary, 'crosscourt' b.h. clear is the most difficult shot for me to master.
but now im begin to reach 3/4 consistently even at a game. its a matter of wrist and footwork training for me before im able to do full length backhand clear.

you're not alone

keep on practicing. concentrate, and dont be afraid when you perform it becoz we'll be able to do it through learning from our mistakes

I find the regular slice (from forehand crosscourt) is more difficult than the reverse slice...
Though I agree that the most difficult basic stroke is the backhand clear, or other backhand strokes (not drops) taken from behind the body.

definitly the cross court net shot for me.
I can never do the shot when i want to.
usually when i do it it, I either hit it too high and gets killed or that it doesn't make it over the net.
Crap, gonna take a long time for me to do this shot properly

I just don't seem to be able to do an overhead backhand clear
. It's getting a bit further now, than it has in te past. But still to far from the baseline. And then some more experienced player at my club says my backhand is pretty good
. O well...I guess I have to keep practicing.

I have the same problem. People say I have good backhand since I really can do pretty good backhand drops and smashes, but I can never clear the shuttle to the back court. Most of the time I get it too high and it just drop straight down in the middle of the court.

Ahaha When you say master do you mean you can like 90% perform the shot and it will be like near on the line and will always be perfect
Because to me master means like to able to perform the shot very accurate and 1/10 performing a mistake on the shot. So in that case i have not master any shot at all then

Doing cross netting like Lee Chong Wei is depend mostly on how u hold ur racket, is not the way holding racket as u know, because CW Lee cross netting is come from my father, my father teach him to be a champion before joining Malaysia badminton team.
there is another much difficult way to do backhand net crossing by using the cutting way. Only one of my father student can play this kind of cutting and the bottom of the net. in one game only one to two mistake he done. e
every time he use this cutting, i will be trick cause his movement is very fast. and the shuttlecock is just pass the net. Is a very amazing shot...........

Lol for cross netting, you've to bring the shuttle across the net, not hit it.
