very impressive specs. i waited a whole day to read the announcement yesterday. D300 will be too little of an upgrade for me. the D3 is nice but too expensive. i am still going to sell my D200 and all my Nikkors. i am addicted to the fast AF of the Canon primes and Nikon has no equivalent to them.
actually, i cannot afford L primes. and the L primes are actually slower AF than the non-L ones. i use mainly the 50/1.4 and 85/1.8 for badminton. they are really fast focusing. perfect for badminton.
Yeah, L primes are overpriced, but there's probably a 70-200L 2.8 IS calling your name in the future.
