I have to admit that this year BWF is very successful in getting many more countries to create badminton tournaments. Even Turkey, Puerto Rico, Suriname, and Russia participated in creating tournaments. Especially in Russia, they have one International Challenge level and one Gold GP...

Yes, there are many countries to establish low level of bdm tourney as beginning step but probably it's gonna be fast and significant progress if BWF events (World Championship-TUC-Sudirman Cup) and Super Series tournaments spread globally. For good example host of World Junior Bdm Champ is so various, Jakarta-Melbourne-Capetown-Auckland-Vancouver-Guangzhou-Silkeborg.

*Honestly, rather boring to see host of TUC that too centralized in Asia such as Hongkong/Guangzhou/KL/Jakarta/Tokyo. Long journey for BWF to push badminton becoming one of popular sport worldwide.

The other countries were given a chance to submit their proposals to become the host of TUC. But they were not competitive enough... I guess... I am sure BWF has every intention to spread the locations of the big tournaments. Two years ago, the World Championship was in America. Last year, the World Championship was in Europe. This year the Sudirman Cup was in Europe. In December, the Superseries finals is in Dubai....
