Now the world championship is over. The next Big event will be the world junior championship which will be held in New Zealand. Its is reported that 26 countries enteredfor the team event and most of the asia super power badminton nation confirmed their entries.
Countries like China, Indonesia, Thailand , Korea and Malaysia have confirmed their entries.
Who will be the team champion this year? Wow... it could be a close call this time. It could be China, Indonesia, Korea, Japan and even Malaysia. I dont think i write off Singapore and England

Maria Febe Kusumastuti will be there! She is seeded #8 in the Indonesian Challenge next week. Let's see whether she has improved. Hopefully she will get enough good ranking points to be highly seeded in the World Junior Championship...

any news whether Saina Nehwal will play the world junior? How about Xing Aiying? Even Wang Lin can still qualify.
These are the few junior who are doing extremely well in the senior tournament who are still qualified to play in the World Junior.

If I were LYB, I will send Wang Lin to NZ! Match her up against Saina Nehwal [IND], Lydia Cheah [MAS], and Maria Febe [INA]! That should be cool!
Oh I think Gu Juan of Singapore is also still Under-19... All of the names I mentioned are active in BWF tournaments for adults and all are decently ranked in WS...

There is lots of talented player this year. It is difficult to predict who will be the champion.
Boys Single. It will be a tough fight between Chen Long Of China, Tago of Japan and Arif of Malaysia. I have not seen the euro standard so I cant make a prediction.
Girls Single. I favour Maria Febe of Indonesia, Liu Jie of China, Fu Mingtian of Singapore. Shizuka of Japan and Beh of Korea. If China decided tosent Wang Lin . Singapore Xing Aiying and India Saina Nehwal.
Girls double. It should be between Indonesia, China and Korea. Malaysian girls double are not so strong though Goh Lui Ying/ Ng Hui Ling could give the top contender a fight.
Boys double. Malaysian are generally strong in this. China and Indonesia.
Mixed double. Of course our Malaysian favourite Woon Khe Wei and Tan Wee Keong. China and Korea. I think european mixed double are generally strong too. could be anybody game,

is Kenichi Tago still eligible to play? is he still under 19???
without disrespect from european juniors... they are still far from the level of their seniors... I watched the MS Final of the euro junior championships...
and i think that Arif, chen long and tago can easily white wash them...

Tago played in the Asian Juniors. He must still be under 19.
