I got my new racquets in on Sunday. However,I am going on vacation today and I can not use them for 2 weeks. Here is the info. Yonex RQiS1 Tour 95 sq in length 27.0 in weight 320g grip 4+3/8 Yonex RQiS 2 Tour 100 sq in length 27.5 in weight 290g grip 4+3/8 These are beauties... PS CS Nano tube is coming for the badminton!!!
Even balance to me. iS1 for me. iS2 for my wife. If she like it better than her RQS33, I will get a new 4+1/8 grip for her.
it has pro specs... 95" sq and 320g. shall be headlite. faster swing, not those hammer type...hahaha for female player, mostly prefer bigger head size and lighter weight, but go for headlite for faster swing. unless want more power from racquet.
I swung the RQiS1 sample and it is even balanced. I will say it will be even balanced after string and over grip.
that is good. havent string? what type of string? at tension? where are you going for vacation? wonder can have some session with you in badminton and tennis too...
No, they came over to the pro shop on Friday and I pick them up on Sunday. I usually use ATG850. I am switching over to natural gut right now. I just had my SRD95 strung with Wilson Natural Gut 16. Next one is my RQ180. I am going to go with ATG850 for my new RQiS1 first then maybe natural guts later. We are going to some where very cold. Up N. Europe. I am tie down the entire trip. I am almost considering not a vacation. I got a late call to go to US Open this year but this trip takes priority.
still no other ppl post here.... kwun will wonder that we are chatting here.. US Open, fedex will highly get the trophy... is he lose yet? havent follow on this. just back from baddy session. as for me, simple setup, not many specs Head Flexpoint Prestige, string... forgot already, is wilson's string at 62lbs. feels hard at start, after 2 months, drop tension, now much better... is quite sad here, seldom play now. not enough member or rain...:crying: some more, only able to play on Sat or Sun, coz those members working long hrs on weekdays.....:crying:
We play indoor during winter because of the snow. Yeah, Tennis is consider a snabby sport in SE Asia. Hard to find courts there right?
can you measure the balance point of each racket? I'm curious, i just got a RDS002 this summer and i love it. soon tennis season will be over...
we have plenty of tennis courts in KL and Klang Valley here. just you can see empty. sports centre normally has swimming pool, badminton stadium, tennis etc. here, condominiums are well equip with tennis court, just no many people playing. not many indoor courts. smaller towns are even less tennis courts.
Wrong sport (= wrong equimpent forum!!).. But they may be suited to strength train the forearm/wrist /T
silentheart would you post some up close images? i havn't had a good look at the racket, i really wanna see a side view of the tapered beam, i mean its suppose to be really tapered.
Me too! For a moment, I thought I must have been lost in time or something that how on earth that I was not aware a new Yonex badminton product was launched!
