Thread: Where to buy Mizuno Shoes in KL?
09-05-2007, 12:55 AM #18
yes i agree. if you want the price immediately you have to go out and see for yourself. if you are hoping for some help since you cant go out yourself, you must be patient. there might even be a chance that you wont get the answer. people here are not shoes sellers. we take time out to go to the shop ourselves to get the price. i already gave you the range. it should be good enough. you can budget that range. and no, wave lightning is not a badminton shoes. it is a volleyball shoes but as i have posted before, volleyball shoes can be used for badminton too since both are shoes for indoor courts. however their sole designs are a bit different. please check out the site i posted above.

Before you get upset even further, i just like to ask you to read the thread section, you would immediately know that this section is not for just 'enthusiast players'
I have been patience, my last post might have implied otherwise and if it did i didn't mean to, i always appreciate help given to me by fellow members and I thank them from bottom my heart, obviously you thought otherwise!

if just answering the question on this post, there have been answers posted before. if you read them you will see there's pertama kompleks, world of sports in SOGO (which is in KL), world of sports branches (i think one in subang parade, you can check the net for the address), GV sports in puchong. plus some response is better than no response at all, dont you think so?

i am not sure whether you have visited KL before. if azabaz_ipoh want to shop for badminton's equipment in KL, i can bring you to shop till you drop.... you will complain that even play badminton is not that exhausted.
this will be different if you ask about Yonex shoes, as it is a top brand and many people here are familiar with.

Hi, can i know which model are you guys wearing?
I have the most common 7km-54014.
From the web site provided by azabaz, the 7km-760 and 7km-660 look nice.

Just thought I give my 2 sen, I have the wave smash s2 and I am very happy with it. Mizuno's makes good shoes so it is worth hunting for them. If you can't find the model you want in Malaysia then try online stores. I've used e78.com.hk and have no problems with their service. Their Mizunos are well priced inclusive of shipping. I've based this assumption using Aussie dollars and the limited choices available in Aust.
I've not shopped for Mizuno's in Malaysia and I don't know who stocks them but well somebody should because they are good and offer an alternative product.
p/s i have the SHB100LTD as well and I am very happy with the performance of that shoe. So if all else fails and no Mizuno's are found, no choice lah try the 100LTD

from what i can see, the insole, blue colour shall be the "power cushion". the rubber thread(outsole) pattern looks like Yonex's hexagrip. the breathable hole underneath similiar to Victor's shoe. anyone see it in KL, pls inform here.... i will go shopping....

If u know chinese then u can refer to this topic http://bbs.168p.net/viewthread.php?t...extra=page%3D1
It's said that the Mastercross wave 7KM-77014 and 78009 is a re-design model of 7KM-90009.
Does anyone heard of this old Mastercross wave DX??

the sole looks awesome. though how it would fare on the courts would still be unproven until someone here uses it. i think it looks like a high end mizuno badminton shoes. those usually cost more than RM200.00. even the mizuno wave lightning costs more than RM200.00. new models should be around RM400 to RM500. this shoes is in the link i gave before. the name of the shoes is mastercross wave XX. only two shoes have white soles. the mastercross wave XX and mastercross wave DX. but i figured unless we are going to japan anytime soon, we will not come across these models. and...emmmmm....i dont think there is a model that starts with 9 yet since the first number represents the year of the model. since we are still in year 2007 the highest number should be 7.
