    Hi BC forum,

I will be dropping by Singapore for 3 days and 2 nights. I am wondering if there are any food and the corresponding restaurant/hawker center etc etc which I 'die die' must try. Help me out because I have not been there for so long.

I am not interested in Western food etc. but I am interested in for example best chicken rice, best satay, best tong sui etc....

    Thanks in advance.

    Just my 2 cents..

...i don't live in S'pore, but been there a few times...Where do you plan to stay?? What area?? If near Orchard Rd., then you can try Takashimaya's food court(Basement floor). That's just 1 option, i'm sure there are tons of other similar places nearby. Lots of food stalls in there, clean, but make sure to avoid lunch time (if possible) as the seatings might be a bit difficult to get.
Another option is to go & try @ Lau Pa Sat. It's a large semi-open air food court/alfresco style, which has lots and lots of food & drink stalls to try; you name it, you got it.;):)..Click here for more info, starting with post #81:
    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33100&page=5
Or if you want, you may want to contaq our BC member Loh. He lives/works in S'pore and might be better to point you to some places.;)

So, many options for you heh?? Incl. the lists from those posts above..hehe;):D:cool:

Lao Pa Sat is for ripping tourists off. If you want truely heartland good food, try the above markets that I have mentioned.

Nam Sing Hokkien Mee at Old Airport Rd
    Tapioca cake at Maxwell FC
    Beef Noodles at Amoy FC
