    Hi BC forum,

I hope any of our Klang Valley badminton fanatics can help me. I am based in Subang Jaya. I've just come back for my annual and I've two rackets which are not strung. I want to look for good stringers to string them.

When I say good stringers I mean like Racketshop in HK. I bought my Woven 8 from them in February. I used it sparingly at the beginning but I've been using the Woven 8 twice a week for the last two months and the BG80 finally broke. The string job by Racketshop was excellent because I could feel the tension dropping very minimally. I could feel the quality of their string job. What an excellent experience with Racketshop.

I want to patronize good stringers because this promotes their business and their efforts. I do not want to waste my money and time with subpar stringers because it does not make good business sense promoting lousy service.

I travel to Klang quite alot so I can usually find my way around there.

I will not use the sports shop in SS14 because of bad experiences with the quality of their work, which I find is reflected by other people in the forum.

I know that Racketworld in Pertama do a good job but I will be travelling all the way to KL using KTM just to string 2 rackets. I am willing to do that if I can't find any decent stringers nearer to me.

So please help me look for a good stringer and I will be very grateful.

Thanks in advance and GOD I MISS ALL THE GOOD FOOD HEHEHEHHE

p/s I dont drive to KL because I am not used to the roads. It is highly likely that I will lose my way.

i have tried searching the forums with restring klang, stringer klang, restring KL, stringer KL, stringer PJ, restring Petaling Jaya. no results.

Sportsdirect.com in Subang Jaya - uses Yonex Digital Stringing machine but what I like is the stringing job by their MAIN STRINGER, look for this guy - Syukri ... he is damn good. Don't let the others touch your racquet, they are all green-horns and "L-plate". So, I usually sit and wait and chit-chat with Syukri while he strings my racquet, he also stencils them for a small fee.

No. 3-1-1, Jalan Setia Prima U13/M, Setia Alam, 40170 Shah Alam.

Nearby setia city mall. If you are familiar, nearby there got "bai ka fei or white coffee" and "hao di fang or good place" coffee shops right? it is just opposite bai ka fei.

The shop name is "TOYZ Station". yes, he, Alan the owner is selling toys as well. He is a good player too, his stringing is good and cheap. I am an intermediate player, i play badminton a lot n have gone through some training. I met him 2 months ago and he strung my apacs slayer 88 with BG66 ultimax, tension 25.5, and it is very good. He charge only RM 34 (other places normally 40 and above).

anyway, he is not that well known around the area cause he din advertise or have eye catching signboard. i stay at setia alam for 4 years and i only notice his shop 2 months ago, somemore is accidentally saw it, although i regularly go eat at the coffee shop.

give it a try. hopefully u will be as delightful as me when u get to try the string he strung. *p.s. i also find his shuttlecocks few ringgits cheaper than outside.

    YK ali.
