[PERTH] Badminton WA - FAREWELL TOURNAMENT

Where? Kingsway Indoor Stadium, Kingsway, Madeley
When? Saturday, 3rd November 2007, 9 am to 5 pm (time subject to change and is determined by entries)

Proposed Teams Composition (team composition is subject to change, regrade and is dependant on entries)
Division 1 4 men team plus 1 lady – all of B grade and upwards (compare & evaluation skills)
Division 2 4 men team plus 1 lady – all of C grade and lower (compare & evaluation skills)
Juniors individual / team format dependant on entries and grading - open to players not in state teams
Under 14 and Under 11 – 2 boys and 2 girls to a team – or composite teams
1. This event will be conducted with reference to WBF Laws of Badminton adopted by BAWA.
2. The management reserves the right to alter conditions as may be necessary, and to cancel the event or divisions for which insufficient entries are received. The management also reserves the right to postpone the event as seen fit.
3. All entry fees do not include player insurance.
4. The TEAM event will be round robin and the groupings into groups will be dependent on the number of entries received.
5. TEAM captains must ensure that their team is present to commence play 15 minutes before their first match.
6. The new scoring system will be used and the number of games will be determined by entry levels.

Entries close 28th October. Draw to be displayed at the Kingsway Indoor Stadium from October 31st

For those who wish to play please PM or email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest so we can put you in a team or if you have your own team already. If you have your own team please fill in the form attached in the first post.
For those who wish to catch a train from the South. If you can catch a train to Warwick or Greenwood train station I can pick you up and drop you off from there.
Note that the tournament starts at 9am so you will have to be at the desired train station at around 8am-8:30am.

my friend and i are interested. i personally know norm, he is/was my coach for a while. i also got several entry forms from him.
i will inform you if i'll be needing transport from the train station. its as if you read my mind!! psychic. i was a bit reluctant because i cant get to kingsway, but now its possible with your help. legend!

yeah i'm psychic :P i remember reading one of your threads that you mention that you required transport.
the tournament is just end of year thing really. nothing serious! just come and have fun! our U15 state team did go to Melbourne few weeks ago though!
i will let norm know that you and your friend are interested in this tournament.

It's called a farewell tournament coz it's the last tournament of the year . .
(end of season) not that there are many tournaments here in Perth
