No no no no no, he's the evil coach :P.
Coach Basri Yusuf showed us a attack-and-defend drill.. he made all our coaches do consequtive jump smashes against him.. wow, he amazed us..
He was like a wall. The 'evil coach', aka 'dean' did about 36 in a row.. then our other coach 'peter' did about 33 in a row.. then our other coach did only 12 in a row.. embarassing
.. He tired out, so he just did a drop to end the rally..
Since the coach was sponsored by Ashaway, he brought some new ashaway models for 2008.. new shoes, new racquets, new bags, new grips, etc..
There was a racquet with really funny grommets. There were creases around the frame where the MP grommets would usually be. The string went around the frame instead of going through the grommets. I had never seen a racquet like that before. I also tested out a racquet with pg66neon strings and I fell in love with those strings..

they may be quite good but definitely not as good as Yonex ones. the MicroPower and MicroLegend don't match up to BG-80.

Winterthur - Switzerland
One of the more stylish halls (8 courts) I've been in so far (not played, only went to pick up some people who were asked to do a demonstration on the opening day). Especially the right side
, love the look of old converted factories, warehouses etc. for apartments as well:

I love those mats because they're grippier, it provides a little bit more cushion, and it looks better.. but they are rolled away when the tournaments are not on..

...I would imagine playing baddy with sunglasses and mis-hitting the birdie are good excuses...Imagine someone lifting a birdie up high..."Look up!!"..
