    Hi,
    Just found this wonderful forum.

I played in the school team when I was in high school in Hong Kong.
I decided to pick up the sports again and plan on taking lessons to refresh my muscle memories.

Lots have changed over the years and I am still learning about the new technology for shoes and rackets. I used to have a Carbonex graphite shaft and frame. Just bought a flexible Yonex MP21 for starters.

Did pay more for my Yonex SHB 100 Ltd shoes than my racket this time around and learning to take care of my body as well. Used to play with Addidas tennis court shoes.

Too bad badminton is not a popular sport in southern Ca -- hard to find a gym, pro-shop, practice buddies, and coach.

As for finding places to play/gyms, pro-shops, practice buddies & coach(es) and the whole sha bang in Southern California, actually there are plenty of those. But, we have to know first & foremost, where are you located (what part of Southern California)???...
Anyway, welcome aboard BC and make yourself at home, otterfun..;)

    Wow, very cool.
    Thanks so much.
    I will look into them.
Since I have church fellowship on Fridays, it might be hard to "hit" the circuit 100%. Thanks.

    Wow..

..in Monrovia?? really??..that used to be my old neighborhood....:p:cool:
Well, i think the links given by our DinkAlot should help you somewhat--best bet is to try the SGVBC (granted you know this area well)...But you should be able to go to the newest baddy club near Monrovia, the ABC (2nd link above given by DinkAlot, in Arcadia) in the very near future...Stay tuned for the grand opening; you can keep track in this sub-forum:cool::

There's a Friday night baddy session @ Arcadia H.S., the closest place to Monrovia...but i guess you have other priorities:cool:

    Hi,
Forgot to ask, how can I participate in submitting my $0.02 about rackets, shoes, etc in the review section ?

Do I have to get to a certain number of posts before i am allowed to review items I have ? Thanks.
