Lower back pain

    Whats the normal cause of this and what is a normal solution?

    Thanks, just wondering if I'm doing strokes wrong or something

    Ah, what a loaded question. I'll try to answer it in a roundabout way.

    The human body is a chain of body segments and joints. Therefore, any movement you do is really a chain of movements. This allows your body to compensate for local defects in your movement abilities.

    For example, suppose that your knees are strong, but your hips are weak. These people will tend to be more "quad dominant" in their movements, and when strength training they'll choose quad dominant exercises which further feeds the imbalance, causing them to become more quad dominant.

    In the case of lower back pain, it is usually excessive mobility in that area. In a lot of top athletes (e.g. olympic throwers, weightlifters) it's been found that there isn't really that much rotation in the lumbar spine, most of the torso rotation comes from swiveling the hips. So, some common causes for low back pain are:

    - poor coordination of the feet to get the body into the right position
    - poor strength/mobility of the hips
    - poor stiffness of the lumbar spine area
    - lack of mobility in the thoracic spine
    etc.

    So, to "solve" lower back pain you need to address these issues.

    i did injure my lower back..... trying Nadal's serve:cool::cool::cool: (in tennis, of course)
    until now, not fully recover.
    why?
    keep on playing badminton for these 3 months ++++ till now....
    bad drifit, bad drifit..... go rest:mad::mad::mad:
