to be honest, i am in grade 9 and ive won many tournaments in waterloo and peel region. do u think it was worth it for me to get the ns6k over any other raquet for the same price range? especially the black night c2c shadow. those were the 2 raquets i was between. (BK was 10 bucks cheaper) Just so u know, i guess im more of a control player because i live on net kills more than i do on smashes thanx for any feedback
the thing is, i already bought the ns6k. do you have any recommendations that i can have as a backup?
my backup racket is a blackknight impulse 727 and i like it a lot also. i tried out my n6k today and it was awesome! it could clear well, the smashes are impossible to return, and i can do more accurate drop shots. i love it! the thing is, i got it strung at 20lb. maybe in a year or so, im getting it strung at 22 because i think that would improve my net kills a lot more.
man i used the impulse 727 like 2 years ago i liked it, but then again i was like 13 years old and that thing flex like a rubber band lol. anywho pointless post.
what do you guys think overall about my choice of the ns6k over the c2c shadow overall? which raquet do you guys think suits me more? I have a big tournament on thursday and i would appreciate any feedback you guys have to offer me.
The NS6k suits you more, because you said: Would there be any reasons not to use the better racquet ?
when i said blackknight, i was talking about my backup raquet, not the c2c shadow. but thats still a valid point. im just wondering which raquet is a better performer on the court
Whatever feels better in your hand is best. There's not way to tell which racquet will fit a person unless we are that person. The only person who can judge your racquets is yourself, and the only one who can pick the right one is yourself too.
thanx for the advice does anybody recommend a backup raquet for my ns6k in the price range of 125 or less? i dont want my backup to be another ns6k. can anybody reccommend something else in that price range?
A NS-5k? Well I don't know, I don't think they even sell NS-5k in Canada, and I've never tried one, just going by the basic logic of NS to NS. If you're going on a trip to Asia anytime soon, 125 CDN can get you a wide variety of racquet choices, Yonex and not Yonex alike (you could get MP-99 for ~120 for ex.). If you're not, then tough luck, j/k. You can look into the low Muscle Power line, those racquets are pretty easy to use and more headlight than their higher end counterparts. Or find a mid CAB. Lastly, you could try a low ISO, they're like the low end MPs, only less power, slightly less control (slightly), but they're much cheaper, quite fast, and easy to use as well.
ive never tried the muscle power series before. do they produce hard smashes like the nanospeed series? If they do, what mp series raquet do you recommend? If you could list the price in canadian dollars beside it that would be awesome
backup racket as mentioned earlier, ur were looking for backup....Do u realise during the games proper a different racket may affect ur playing n results outcome. Especially a broken racket gut shall force ur to replace racket, dont u wanna have an exact racket feel rather to an equivalent racket perform.Me always look to replace an exact racket if the going is good. Why repair something if is not broken?
thats true, but what if my nanospeed just broke in the middle of the game? I need to have a backup raquet with the same performance and feel to backup my game. As u said, i can't buy a raquet that is drastically different to my ns6k, but I was just wondering what raquets i could choose from that are of similiar performance to my nanospeed 6000 for a backup raquet, just incase.
