NOOOOOOOoOooooo!! just managed to put a big scary crack on my at700 with a big shanking misshit on the 10 o clock weak-point... it wont last more than a week id say. there is no smiley to express how destroyed my soul is and the sheer depth of my sadness. i cant seem to find any info re warranties on their site. i Purchased the racket in HK , so must i contact yonex china in my dealings, or can i contact a more local division ? anyone have a copy of the warranty or a link?
.. the original seller is on the other side of the world, and there is no dealer in this country i think.. sigh. week before season starts. what a pain. thanks anyway.
I don't think you can warranty out your HK coded racket here in the US. I got my rackets from Japan with the JP codes and I have to send it back to them for warranty issues. Even if it checks out OK, I still have to pay 60% of the original price. If you have friends or family in HK, you can ask them to help.
True, I agree. I think in HK you can the SP model for like $120 US dollars. Some shops sells the AT7 for $140 here in the US. We my friend said he got it for that much in LA.
International warranty is simply the most irritating problem to face.U bought ur racket in HK,u should try to contact the retailer n tell him ur problem.Ask him if it's possible for u to send ur racket back to his place n ask him to replace it for u.But in fact, the delivery cost will be almost the same price with a new racket, and the uncertainty for whether it's possible to get a replacement. So,that's why..if possible, buy a racket in ur own place. It's much easier to face if there are problems.
Also, HK racquet has 3 mo warranty period if I remember it correctly. You need to send it back to the dealer or a dealer in HK to get a replacement.
