when i got my new armortec 500, i used a towel grip over the original grip for a while untill it got all hard and stinky:confused:lol. Im planning to get a new grip but have no clue telling the difference between overgrip and just a normal grip. Dink's review is on the OVERgrips, so whats the difference between normal grips and overgrips?

Overgrips are thin and designed to be put over replacement/original grips. Replacement grips are usually thicker and meant to replace the original factory grip. Just pay attention to what you buy, it'll most likely say "overgrip" on the packaging.

I assumer your from toronto, markham area.

Yo's has a good variety, all though i only by super grap ($7 there for a roll), and it last my three wraps, and a heck of a long time before i change it.

I believe there is towel grips there too, but i find them to get nasty and hard after a short period of time playing.

But just look around and ask the guy that works there

Nope, but if they do the price would be a rip off. Also, authorized shops cannot other coded rackets.

(Sorry I'm still a bit new on the grip stuff) So is the overgrip like the yonex supergrap? very thin layer of grip? The original factory grip? Do you mean the grip that is already on the racket when you buy it in a shop? or after you remove the original grip?
