Let's get the ball rolling by starting with my picks on Men's Singles Quarter-finals.

    (1) Chen Hong vs Taufik Hidayat - Taufik looks determined and desperately need to get his first Super Series of the year. A rematch of the Japan Open 1st round. Take Taufik in 3 sets.

    (2) Lee Hyun Ill
vs Shoji Sato - Great to see Hyun Ill to get back to his game. The Korean to prevail in straight sets over the Japanese.

    (3) Wong Choon Hann vs Sony Dwi Kuncoro - Both needs to get into the top eight. The younger opponent should get thru in 2 tight sets.

    (4) Simon Santoso vs Lee Chong Wei - Chong Wei is in great form so far and so is Simon. A real test for Chong Wei but the MAS should be able to pull it off in straight sets.

    my prediction are as follow....

    1. TAUFIK vs Chen hong.....2 experience player battle it out for a place in the semi final.....based on the form, Taufik will have more advantage and should finish off the game with a close 3 sets win....

    2. LEE HYUN IL vs Shoji Sato....after defeating PG, LHI will be more confident in this match and his form are improving from time to time..LHI should take tis game by straight sets....

    3. WONG CHOONG HANN vs SONY dwi Kuncoro....WCH is determine to improve his ranking to play in OG08...and tis game is a good platform for him....tis is a tight game.... i tink WCH will play untill rubber sets and win....

    4. LEE CHONG WEI vs Simon santoso.....based on the MAS number 1 form, there is no problem for him win this match but SIMON IS ALSO A GIANT KILLER and might end LCW run in this tournament....i fink LCW should easilt defeat SIMON in straight game....

this is juz my prediction and comment about their matches........everyone have the rights to voice out their opinion...

    MEN'S SINGLES
It's nice to see 3 out of 4 quarter-final matches in MS with INA participants. At least, most of the players fulfill their seedings.

Chen Hong vs Taufik Hidayat -- no surprises so far as both players are seeded to meet each other. I think Taufik holds an edge now, given he's quite motivated to win.

Wong Choong Hann vs Sony Dwi Kuncoro -- a tough match, but Sony should edge it too.

Simon Santoso vs Lee Chong Wei -- Simon has been getting improving results and let's see if he can topple the in-form Chong Wei tomorrow.

    MEN'S DOUBLES
    Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan
vs Shuichi Sakamoto/Shintaro Ikeda -- the World Champion against the bronze-medallist. The INA pair to take it!

Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen vs Hendra A. Gunawan/Joko Riyadi -- the DEN comeback pair have a good day. Let's see if AG/Joko can beat them to reach their first SF this year.

Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif/Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari vs Luluk Hadiyanto/Alvent Yulianto -- should be a cracking match...Luluk/Alvent have a slight edge due to their recent good form.

    WOMEN'S SINGLES
    Yao Jie
vs Maria Kristin Yulianti -- any QF placing by an INA WS player is a blessing, and a SF place will be a bonus.

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES
    Vita Marissa/Lilyana Natsir
vs Satoko Suetsuna/Miyuki Maeda -- after beating Jiang/Li, I think they should beat the JAP pair.

    MIXED DOUBLES
    Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir
vs Lee Jae Jin/Hwang Yu Mi -- yet another rematch of last week's match. The World Champion should take it.

Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Li Yujia vs Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa -- by right, the INA pair should take it, but, Saputra/Li have been doing well lately.

I can say that TH vs Ch and LCW VS SS will be the most tight match.

Sony will pass it but not the easy one.

Yeah finally a big hope to see INA XD Pair meet in the Final:D:D

Agreed with u except the MD. I'm rooting for the DEN & MAS pairs to create upsets.
