I am more towards smashing player and I prefer a racquet that can generate more speed when I hit the shuttlecock and when smashing too.Which racquet would you recomend and which is good for smasing, defense and generate more power?

if you are weak then the MP-99 or MP-100 will be the best choice
if not then AT-700 or AT-900P is a great chocie either
it really depends on your budget

Actually weaker players will benefit more from the AT-700, it can generate power easier and for less strength.

MP-99 and MP-100 are quite stiff and you'll have difficulty pulling smashes or other swings requiring power if your arm can't swing fast/strong enough, they are great control racquets though (well the 100 is more offense, stiff and head heavy).

AT-900P, I haven't tried it, but I also heard its stiff and less forgiving, but has the highest power output of the currently produced YYs.

I actually think that the NS9000X would provide more power than the AT900P....

That's dependent on the user, for the trained and conditioned, the 9000X would be a good racquet to compliment the user, but only because the user is already very strong and can swing extremely fast.

The 900P itself can deliver the best offensive strike for the average player, or one that is more dependent on the racquet to serve as the power between the player and racquet. You could say it's a handicap for the weak (well not weak, but you get what I mean).

So you're meaning that at an extremely high level of technique (like pros), an NS9000X would provide more power than an AT900P, but at a lower level (club level) then an AT900P would give more right? That's pretty much the way I see it...

Yeah, the 900P is a powerhouse on its own, whereas the 9000X is a tool for potential, or a key (the user is the door, ;) ), so the speak.

From a more scientific view... I would actually think that the 900P would provide more power reason being, no matter how trained and condition a person is, there's a limit to how fast you can swing. After swing speed, the factors that remain are head-weight and shaft recoil (stiffness). Unless the 9000X really is that much stiffer than the 900P allowing a more explosive recoil in the shaft, the higher overall head weight on the 900P should give it an edge.

On the flipside, power isn't everything in a game otherwise everyone would be grabbing the head-heaviest and stiffest racket they can use. Since the 9000X is head light, it provides a more well rounded solution for power and defense.
