Stringing Tension
Dear Ants,
Thank you so much for all your reviews, which make me aware of the differences of each of those rackets.
One stupid question from a newbie, the stringing tension of all your test rackets are always at 30lbs or even higher, whereas the suggested maximum is 25 lbs.
Are your test rackets different from the commercially available ones, so that they can be strung at least 5 lbs above the recommended ceiling?
Thanks for your advice.

The recommended tension is what tension you racquets have to be to get warranty by yonex. The actual limit of the racquet is much higher (36lbs or a bit more). So it is possible to string up to those high tension, but his warranty is void because of doing so.

Well, at that tension, one bad framehit or mishit can kill your racquet, so you'd better have great technique to use it. As well, you need a lot of power to flex the strings, but the amount of power you can get from higher tensions is incredible. However, if you don't have the technique and power, your power will suffer, and so will your aim, and your arm (those stiff stringbeds don't absorb much shock, so you'll have vibrations dancing up your arm). However, if you can handle it, you'll have great power, and control. But if you can't, don't try it.
