Just curious how much everyone has invested in playing badminton money-wise. :)

I started playing back in highschool and used maybe 3 low-end yonex racquets in total. My last highschool racquet was the first yonex isometric series which was about $50CND, which was a pretty big deal for my dad to spend so much on something that's "recreational". lol

I now still play a couple times a week... I guess I'm lower than most medium players, but I can still play pretty competitively.

So far, I've maybe spent close to $200 on racquets:
    $30 Carlton
    $30 Carlton
    $50 Yonex Isometric
    $90 Yonex AT150

I'm thinking about buying a MP99, just because it looks so cool, but yes, I don't think it'll do much for my level of playing and I'll just come off as a "poser".

    Iso63 3U x 1 = $60
    AT700 4U x 2 = $310
    AT700 3U x 2 = $360
    Ti10 3U x 4 = $520
    Iso 800 x 1 = $80
    YonexBag x 2 = $50
    BG80 x 10 = $140
    Mavis350 x 8 = $112
    Feathers x 5 = $100
    Grips x 5 = $40
    SHB99Ltd x 1 = $120
    Shirts x 3 = $90

If I could count stringing, travel expenses, tournament fees, and the Powerade I buy before certain practices and tournaments, it'd be alot more than this. But since this is just about equipment, my grand total is (Grabs out calculator).........$1982.00. JUST UNDER 2 GRAND >< After this post, I've realized what a monster I am ><
