A quick question, do you steam the shuttles before you play with them for this review? tHanks

Yonex AS-50 is still one of the best shuttles currently
Yes... Yonex AS-50 is still one of the best shuttles currently.
IMHO, it is very much overpriced, therefore its 'Bang For The Buck' could only be rated as 'Average'.
Thank you for your review... there are many shuttles listed there that I have not tried yet.

How about DTL shuttles? I think they are good too, same manufacturer as RSL. Also, next time when you look to new brand to test, take a look at this. http://shuttlecocks.come4internet.com. I also put down there some comments from this forum users' reviews.
Thanks for the great work.

Dink where can i get the RSL tourney #4? you rate it as bang for buck and it's pretty inexpensive....i'd like to get my hands on some, but i can't find any other than the classic and the No. 1...

over here in sg there seems to be 2 versions of the yangyang tactic 300b shuttles available. not really sure which is the newer/older version. and not sure whether the quality of new batches has deteriorated over the months
if possible, can someone using these shuttles post some pictures of the packaging? so that ill know which received the excellent rating from mr dink here

Please check the last test date as I find it essential. Shuttle quality is deteriorating significantly. The shuttles of the past were superior and less expensive.
Caveat: I feel this review is becoming more and more flawed (inconsistent) because I have reviews of shuttles from 3 years ago and shuttles that are current. It's unfair to "compare" them. For instance, the current batch of AS50s are really sub-par relatively speaking. The durability is just not there.
Anyway, it is what it is. Just don't try to compare a current shuttle with shuttles from the past, you'll most likely be disappointed.

anyone in uk noticed that the as30's have got significantly worse in the last few months? ie it seems rare they can last a whole game at club/county level, that's kinda disgraceful if u ask me...
