Lol, So u guys prefer ashaway strings? Am i right to say that? Does people like yonex strings because pro players are sponsored by yonex? I understand that in the West (US etc) lots of ppl prefer ashaway strings? Why is that so? Climate Diff?

i switched over from Yonex BG-65/BG-68 Ti to ASHAWAY MicroPower. crispy and soundage :P i've tried the ASHAWAY MicroLegend too but didn't quite like it as much as the MicroPower.

I prefer ashaway over yonex. I wouldn't say they're "far superior". Yonex strings are also good too. I like the feel of microlegend. i like bg66 too but i break them often comparatively to microlegend.

i like both yonex and ashaway strings.
in terms of performance, i'd say my selection of bg66/80/85's have a slight edge, but overall, considering cost and durability as well, i'd say ashaway micropower (0.70) is my favorite.

It's only a pack of string. If you put it on, don't like it, it's how much? Just cut it off. It's not a big deal.

What duh?! I just checked your profile, you're a racket stringer? Then double shame on you for asking this question.

I think Ashaway is a love it or hate it for most people. I like the feel of it their high end strings which feel soft but crisp. One thing I like about Ashaway is their durability. The same width seems to be more durable with Ashaway. Their tension retainment doesn't seem as good though no matter how much I prestretch.

For me, it's usually a bit of break-in, and then I'll love the string for a 2-3 sessions and then it feels too loose.

I would suggest you do so, NGX is the best string I've tried.

Your so lucky! You already got to try the string. Any clues when this will be available to the public?

    They're good, ti65, CF70, CF66, CF64, BS963. All are good strings.

I just like pg65 better....And sotx strings would run out fast if I use them, I don't like the idea I'm cleaning out my own stock so fast
