    Default Specific Technique : How are your smashes like?

    Talk about your smashes here (while I take notes and practice from the sidelines)!

    Well, my smashes kinda...err..go downward...

    More specifically, I keep my hand in the air, jump, twist my body and use my wrist and arm to hit it downwards.

    How are your smashes like? Have any mannerisms, the way you land or if you even jump at all?

    I think there aren't any threads like this. I used the search (yeah, search!) and didn't find anything like this (surprisingly) so, I decided to make my own thread.

    i good smash is a balance movement of the wrist and arm. My smashes are more arm movement than wrist.

    I don't generate enough power off my smashes because i'm basically all arms due to tennis. I also need to know how to use your wrist when you smash so that they'll be more powerul.

    What do you mean downwards? Straight down, not making it to the other side of the net?
