    Does anyone know where Han Jian reside now? Anyway to contact him? He is my idol. Undoubtedly, the best player in the 80s.

    He is coaching somewhere in the klang valley, presumably near klang. I think he should be staying somewhere in klang valley too. if you wanna know him, I know one of his former best student which was the under 18 selangor champion, which can get you to contact him.

    Yes! The most memorable game of the century! The Friendly Match of 1980 in Singapore. The top defensive player beat the top offensive player at the time. Nice to see that he made Liem Swie King frustrated as the infamous King Smash did not work on him.

    Mainly all the students produced by Han Jian majority all became state players....sounded professional right??
    hehe...cant deny, he's 1 of it !!!

    Indeed he has been in Mas after being x coach to MAS.
    Been in Klang Valley more than 1oyrs oredi.
    So is Yang Yang is now in Batu Pahat...may years too.
    Maybe Zhang J.W will add into MAS fraternity

    Maybe they feel comfortable staying in Malaysia. It will be good to ask them y they chooses Malaysia compare to other countries.

    becoz lots of chinese-malay who speak chinese, so easier for chinese coachs like Yang Yang and Han Jian to adopt the new enviroment.......by the way, do you guys know any malay national team players who can speak cantonese ?:confused:

    Do you know that Han Jian has written a book on badminton? It is called "Basic Skills of Badminton" co-written with Ooi Lay Beng. It is quite good covering topics such as equipment, grips and strokes, footwork, agility, deception, analysing the training, tactics, mental approach, warm up, etc, etc. Also contain a lot of interesting photos during his playing days.

    i have that book. very good book for beginner and early age who want to be a very good single player. all basic skill that you need to know.
