Does anyone do this? I've just discovered this, but its very tiring, my lunging leg and forearm are aching like mad.

Is this good to improve play when you have no partner to play with?

Are there any other things to practise apart from shadow footwork on your own?

    Very good stuff.
    You can train net shots.
If you don't care about the shuttle, then train drives for fast reflexes because the shuttle will react unpredicatbly when rebounding from the wall.
