*Cut and paste from Yeeloon's website*

Roslin Hashim M. [15] vs Taufik Hidayat [6]
    * Sung Hwan Park [11] vs Weijie Gong
Jin Chen [5] vs Hong Chen [3]
Choong Hann Wong [10] vs Chunlai Bao [2]

Park vs Gong. Will the rising star from China go through?

Haifeng Fu, Yun Cai [1] vs Jae Jin Lee, Ji Man Hwang [7]
Tan Fook Choong, Wan Wah Lee [4] vs Chung Chiat Khoo, Mohd Razif Abdul Latif
Teik Chai Gan, Woon Fui Lin vs Markis Kido, Hendra Setiawan [3]
Jae Sung Jung, Yong Dae Lee [5] vs Kien Keat Koo, Boon Heong Tan [2]

Much more interesting men's doubles with two korean pairs.

Saina Nehwal vs Jae Youn Jun
    Adriyanti Firdasari vs Kanako Yonekura
Lan Lu [5] vs Lin Wang
Mi Zhou vs Xingfang Xie [2]

Not sure which is the interesting one after Zhou Mi vs XXF. Firdasari might have problems with Yonekura's running style. Yonekura doesn't smash much so this may benefit Firdasari

Zhongbo Xie, Yawen Zhang [1] vs Jae Jin Lee, Yu Mi Hwang
Devin Lahardi Fitriawan, Lita Nurlita vs Sang Hoon Han, Hyo Jung Lee [8]
Hong Ling Chen, Chia Chi Chou vs Yohan Hadikusumo Wiratama, Hoi Wah Chau
Tai An Lee, Yen Jui Lin vs Hendri Kurniawan Saputra, Yujia Li [2]

Well I think only CTF/LWW will go to SF. It will be classic matches; FHF/CY vs CTF/LWW and MK/HS vs JJS/LYD

First you have to establish that a Macau pair has really entered the quarter finals. From the order of play on Friday, q/finals day, I cannot see any players that are representing Macau.

CHN, KOR, TPE, SIN, INA, JPN, HKG, MAS, IND are represented.

Have you mistaken MAS for MAC?

Roslin Hashim M. [15] vs Taufik Hidayat [6] - Roslin is so unpredictable but Taufik should win.

Sung Hwan Park [11] vs Weijie Gong - Gong's gallant run will end tomorrow.

Jin Chen [5] vs Hong Chen [3] - A tough match, Chen Hong will pull it off.

Choong Hann Wong [10] vs Chunlai Bao [2] - A tough match for the MAS.

Haifeng Fu, Yun Cai [1] vs Jae Jin Lee, Ji Man Hwang [7] - The top seeds need to redeem themselves after a series of poor run since the WC.

Tan Fook Choong, Wan Wah Lee [4] vs Chung Chiat Khoo, Mohd Razif Abdul Latif - The more experienced pair should prevail.

Teik Chai Gan, Woon Fui Lin vs Markis Kido, Hendra Setiawan [3] - The current WC should be able to win over the MAS pair.

Jae Sung Jung, Yong Dae Lee [5] vs Kien Keat Koo, Boon Heong Tan [2] - The most anticipated match with both pairs in declining form after the WC. A potential thrilling match.

Saina Nehwal vs Jae Youn Jun - Jun should sail thru if she can recover from injury.

Adriyanti Firdasari vs Kanako Yonekura - 50-50 match.

Lan Lu [5] vs Lin Wang - Wang will win.

Mi Zhou vs Xingfang Xie [2] - An interesting match, the unseeded will prevail.

Roslin Hashim M. [15] vs Taufik Hidayat [6] - Taufik beat Roslin many times, and the other hand Roslin sometimes not stable. Taufik also want to chase the title and point for OR2008
Sung Hwan Park [11] vs Weijie Gong - Weijie is Chinese youngster and he prepared by LYB to cover their senior. However PSH is darkhorse for top players.
Jin Chen [5]vs Hong Chen [3] - CJ starting to get up, but the experience will talk
Choong Hann Wong [10] vs Chunlai Bao [2] - Not easy for BCL to manage WCH since he is an old crack, but I predict there is no MAS in MS.:(

    WS
Saina Nehwal vs Jae Youn Jun (if not injury) - After her best performance in JO (if I dont mistake), her performance getting better and better. She probably can be a darkhorse for Chinese players
Adriyanti Firdasari vs Kanako Yonekura - Tough match. Firda must play sharp and does not give a chance to Kanako. Otherwise, Kanako have many experiences and not easy to give up.
Lan Lu [5] vs Lin Wang - Wang Lin not stable, Lu Lan has problem with her stamina
Mi Zhou vs Xingfang Xie [2] - Quite tough since XXF is not in good performance recently. Otherwise, Zhou Mi can not pump her performance to her best level such previously.

    MD
Haifeng Fu, Yun Cai [1] vs Jae Jin Lee, Ji Man Hwang [7] - Tough, unpredictable. Although, FHF/CY will win the battle this time
Tan Fook Choong, Wan Wah Lee [4] vs Chung Chiat Khoo, Mohd Razif Abdul Latif - More experience. This is good achievement for CCK/MRL..
Teik Chai Gan, Woon Fui Lin vs Markis Kido, Hendra Setiawan [3] - WC champion must win and save the the title for Indonesia. However, I doubt with their stamina...
Jae Sung Jung, Yong Dae Lee [5] vs Kien Keat Koo, Boon Heong Tan [2]
Again, still have problem with KKK/TBH..., and JJS/LYD will take this chance to win the battle

FYI, Jae was left the court with bags of ice on her thigh....
Her match was Li Li was so entertainng and crucial especially when she was leading 20-16 and LilI took 2 points to close the gap 18-20 where Jae fell badly....called doctor and eventually won the match points....I think Sainal can win the match....tough for Jae as she may get injured....

This match could decide who wins the Macau Open PAW. To gamble or not to gamble, that's the question
