twobeer, I read your other thread, the Mizuno mini review and I was quite taken when you said that Mizuno G5 is more like Yonex G4 or G3. I had a Mizuno GP 9 (racket broke because it couldn't handle the high tension). Well it was a G5 and I thought it felt smaller then yonex's G5.

Well I order a couple of TC500 and it should be here by Monday at the latest so I'll know for sure if the grip is smaller or not.

The grommets are not to bad i think (remember I cycle between 7 rackets, so i dont need to restring each that often).. I noticed they are worn on some rackets, but as long as the strings dont break due to frame contact i don't see any problem :-)

Manage to purchase one TC700 from a forum member and after a session with it I am going to sell off my AT900P to make space for another one. (anyone looking for a 10/10 condition AT900P)

This racket is just amazing, it's just as per the reviews given by other users. Only thing is that it would need some getting use to for the more delicate shots.

You must be super strong, till now I still find it very demanding to use.

I have used all the stiff racquets like NS9900, PP10k, Li Ning N55, Babolat X-Blast etc etc, but none is so demanding as the TC700.

You got this from Badmintan ? Did you restring it ? If I remembered correctly, you like high tension of 28lbs ?

Yup, got it from Badmintan. Yet to restring it, current is 24lbs. Be stringing at 28lbs if there is any review on it capable of handling it. If at 28lbs I should be laying bombs on my opposition. It is pretty demanding but interchange it with a NS9900 during sessions n you will find that they complement each other perfectly

Interesting to hear that many TC700 users also feels the power potential of the TC700.. I noted that they where 40% off at shuttle-house.com, maybe I need some more ones :-) . I too really like the AT900P but feel TC700 has more potential oomph...

Last week I had one restrung with BG66 Maxima strings (30x32). The new maximas are truly amazing strings! To bad they only seem available in single-packs... I would like a 200m roll :-(

This can take 30LB no problem. Done it at 10&10.

Oh man, my buddy Master Tedski tried out the Zymax 62 on three rackets and they all broke within an hour period. No more ultra thin strings . . . Amazing performance but amazingly short life . . .

It seems that the TC700 is no longer in production ?

I don't see it anymore on Mizuno japanese website, only the TC400 !

    No problem !

Based on what I saw, the TC700 seems quite suitable for you as you use alot of wrist. The shots you unleashed using the TC700 is much more powerful and faster compare to other racquets. Of course ultimately it is the player and you are a good one !

    Extra stiff .. yes yes...

Not sure if I can really handle the stiffness although I did like the TC700 a lot when I played it for 3 games. I like the power but had some problem with the directional change -- need to get used to it. Thinking back, the steepness I got from the racket is quite impressive.

With the PP10k, I do not see myself using the PP9990 or the Trixon8 so I am considering replace the latter with a couple of TC700. Need to submit proposal for board approval.

You are flattering me . I "pattern more than badminton". Still a long way to be considered any good. My wanting the TC700 is 60% vanity -- Mizuno set!! It's a fantastic racket.

    @weeyeh
as you have tried TC700, would you mind to do a comparison between TC700 and PP10K?
i am having PP10k as well, so your comparison will provide an insight to me about these two rackets.
btw,i am considering Mizuno Luminasonic 9 which is the newest edition from Mizuno racket.i read somewhere in the forum, that it has the characteristic of TC 700 but L9 swings faster..i am now awaiting the review done by Twobeer about this racket.
so i guess you should take L9 into consideration as well.

    Thanks a lot.
