e78 will be cheaper than shuttle house.
When I am in HK, I will buy in e78.
But when I am in Japan, I will buy in shuttle house.

First time to use TC700 last night.

Smash, Drive and Clear are great.
The speed of the shuttle is fast and powerful.
But I couldn't control it well during defense.

For more detail, plz refer to the following post.

Defending isn't as bad as with some other smash-happy rackets.
Choking up on that long handle should help.

I am still getting used to it. It is better for me with a slightly lower tension than usual (not sure why).

With usual tension (26lbs) I found it a pretty unforgiving on off centre hits & timing was not good, however with lower tension it is much better.

Congratulation on getting one! The oval shaped frame of the TC-700 dictates 3 lbs lower tension than an isometric frame.

Thanks actually I got 2 of each Gen!

All 3U unfortunately, but as people have noted, a heavy 3U, so it is ok to me!

Better report of it once I have played a bit more with it.

Wow... so many new friends in the party.

@James, will you be so kind to give you view between the 2 Gen? The tension needs to be a bit lower because of the shape and the stringbed is a bit closer. The TC700 has 23 cross. I didn't think it's 3lbs lower but Pete could very well be right.

I had my TC700 strung to 28lbs almost two months ago with BG65, and the pitch sounds like my friend's newly strung AT800 with BG65 at 28lbs. The sound isn't loud, but the pitch is generally higher probably because of the extra cross-string. IMO, the racquet feels "dead" at low tensions. Higher tension -> comes alive. (for me)

    I have a 1st gen 2U.. I really want to try the 2nd gen 3U ><

Not tried the 2nd Gen yet - still unstrung. Will try string it this Weekend for comparison. Was sticking with 1st Gen till I get a good feel, but It won't harm anything!
