Any obvious reasons why Chen Hong W/O. One can't help to be cynical.
May be they are genuinely injured but if it has patent then one can't blame someone to be cynical. The patent that I refer here is China vs China Ms Semifinal. May be they should give press conference for they W/O right away.
This why the China players have lost many fans.

    I f I see him, I will ask him.
Honestly after defeating Ken Limm, he sat next to me and asked him if he was tired...he said" No..I am okay"..next morning, in stadium, he said hello to me....playful with other Taiwanese players and there was no signs that he was injured ...anyway..I cant see from inside...basically I do not know the truth....

Chen Hong is not under Li Yongbo anymore. No incentive for Chen Hong to intentionally give walkover.

Well I think CH walked out since CJ need more points to retain his rank position and CH won't participate at OR... If it is true, so rudiculuos :(
However, CJ showed good performance in this tournament......

apart from the fact that they keep winning as well, thats why people start despising them.

Many people support individual player regardless which country they are from but I guess the Chinese from China team are too nationalist and ignore the sportsmanship. Unless the standard/ethic of sportsmanship that they adopt is different to the majority of fans expectations. I wouldn't easily blame the players.Their mentor, coach, management have to set the standard to what is right and what is wrong. They are responsible in their education to they kids in charge.
If we want to see Badminton as universal and florist as other sports, we must coach our next generation to be more professional and adopt universal code of conduct which are acceptable to everyone.
Remember, fans and supporters are the one keep them alive.

I did ask Chen Hong this morning in breakfast room.
He said that he did not feel good about his wrist ( if I understand his Mandarin well..hehe)..
I guess that he wont risk it for his next 2 tournaments ( Denmark and French)..
He is leaving today.........he seems very happy and Chen Hong is very very friendly..I did not expect him to chat with me everytime he sees me as my Pu Tung Hua sucks....

Apology accepted !. If he would have done this earlier in press conference, it will be much appreciated by fans and supporters.
He almost lost me as his supporter, I use to like Bao but after his W/O to Lin in Malaysian open, He lost my respect. Chen Hong is now back to my list and of course Chen Jin which I regard as to have the better sportsmanship.

Making guesses is not meaningful, but it's always CH who gave walkovers this year... What the hell, he will not be able to make top 4 before the Olympics. :(

It has nothing to do with the player as decision to walk is make by the coaches so really no reason to lose respect to Bao. Obviously China want to have as many MS players as possible in Olympic hence must have politely asked Chen Hong to walk. If you're Chen Hong, what can you do? Don't forget Chen Hong is still dreaming to go to Olympic and these coaches opinion weigh a lot in determining his fate ... Even though Chen Hong seems to be the unlikely one to represent China in Olympic but if he can maintain in top 4 ranking then China can't deny him unless the top 4 are all Chinese(only 3 allows in top 4, and 2 allows in top 16) or only 1 Chinese player in top 4 and remaining in top 16. The odd is against Chen Hong regardless, but still there's a slim chance hence Chen Hong agreed the walk

its not the player's fault that the coach Li Yong Bo orders a walkover. If Chen Jin, who has good sportsmanship, was ordered to give a walkover, he cannot refuse. Its not the players. Everything is decided by the coach.

It only need someone like Chen Hong's caliber to stand up and says 'No' and go public. After all Chen Hong has nothing to lose. This will save many more youngsters from being manipulated but of course only if the conspiracy does exist. It also will start the debate among Chinese supporters and set a new standard.
Someone with a big heart and conscience which willing to speak the truth against the ruler will start the revolution and be hero of the future.
