I'm looking to buy SOTX woven 7, 8 or 8A. Which in one these rackets is most equivalent to Yonex Armortec 700? Also, what's the difference between 8 vs. 8A? Thanks and I'm looking forward to hear from experienced users.

    woven 8 / 8a

    Hey,

The woven 8 and 8a are the same racquet, different colour scheme, see this link for a pic of the 8:

    http://www.mjstrings.ca/product-woven8.php

In terms of the 8 vs 7, woven 8 is more of an all rounder, and 7 is stiffer and more offensive.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for your advice. I'm 99% sure that I will get woven 7; Also, does anybody know what grip size it comes and the weight? I know the grip size for SOTX rackets are different than Yonex. What's the equivalent for G4 in SOTX?

    I'd say #3 is a G4, #4 is a G3...

    Woven 7 and woven 8 n 8A

    Hi Alan,
Woven 7 will be better compare to woven 8 or 8A for AT700. Solid, powerful and durable, cheap as well. They are producing woven 7i instead of woven 7 nowaday. :p I think this racket is value for money.;)
