    Hi guys,
Can i have more info on yonex AS5 shuttles. I heard they are better than Yonex AS10. Is that true? Or is AS5 the lousiest shuttle in yonex range?:confused::confused:

    i've seen AS-2's.
i haven't tried them, but if the general idea applies, it should be worse than the AS-5's you mention.

Thanks chickenpoodle for the reply.anyone has any idea what is AS5 standard in yonex range of shuttles? Because in local sportshop, AS5 cost more than AS10.

i did a bit of digging around, and the AS-XX shuttles are goose feathers(which we all know), while the AS-X series of shuttles are duck feathers.

AS-5 shuttles are IBF approved just as much as AS-50's are.

I guess the AS5 i bought were a problematic batch. One feather of the shuttle always break off after a few shots.

Is there AS15 in the market? Or do u mean AS5? If you are refering to AS5, yes, it is made of duck feather.

I have a AS-5 sitting on my desk from 20 year ago. I hit it once a year to make sure it is still alive. Also, it is a piece of my memory.

But from my experience, the flight pattern seems to be very bad. Just after a few hits, the shuttle will like "shake" in the air.
