[SIZE=-1]Does anyone suffer from this disorder? I know that i do because after an hour of play, my shirt looks like it came out of the wash.

I do!!! even after an hour- 2 hours of play, my shirt is all wet, and my sweat stain from the neck goes to about the top of my belly!!!. Well, what it means is that i sweat a lot even though i have a whole ton of energy. So after 2 hours of play, may sweat bad, but i find that i play even better when i sweat more :p

Pandas sweat a lot, we have too much fur for badminton. :p

To minimize sweat, I wear Under Armor anti-sweat Tank Tops and use microfiber towels to wipe away the sweat. Works great, don't need to bring multiple shirts, just multiple towels. :)

At first, I did not sweat alot until I started taking badminton seriously. After of which, I became a human waterfall :p I wear shirts which wick sweat away from my body in order to cope, and carry a towel at almost all games.

include me in the list! one time i named my own lake after a 20 minute workout on court. wearing thinner material wouldn't help much.

the worst part is when trying to clean the sweat when it is dry. My white shirt has now become yellow.

only during badminton? then i don't think it can be classified as hyperhidrosis. it just means you sweat a lot during a workout.
i suffer from hyperhidrosis even when i am not playing badminton, especially palms, armpits and feet.

it depends on your input as well.

I sweet from my forehead just standing.

Sweeting doesn't mean you lose weight. It means that your body is overheating and in order to reduce your body temperature sweat is given off.
Correct me if i am wrong.

When you sweat, you lose water and *some* minerals. So *yes*, you do lose weight, but you will gain it back after rehydrating yourself. However, the activity you perform, will raise your metabolism, and you will lose weight because of higher catabolism of fat (or muscle/protein if you're over-exercising or not eating), given that you burn more than you eat. Hence, a sauna won't help you lose weight. But running a few miles everyday will.

Well sweating gets rid of the water weight that you have at that moment. Normally people take in what they put out. So I guess you do lose weight but only temporarily.

I probably do aswell. I have sweat running down my head like I came out of the shower without drying my body just by walking 5kms to school. And also, I drink so much more water than everybody else that I know. <_<

1 - 1.5 hrs before your session, drink 1 litres of water. then, during play, hydrate yourself intermittently. even if you sweat a lot, should not be a problem.
