How to take product photos of badminton racket?

i have been trying to take pictures of badminton rackets, and i have had much problem making them look nice. i wonder if other photographer/badminton player among us have tried their hand on taking some nice product shots of the racket.

obviously, i am looking for something more than just the flat product shots that we are used to on brochures, those are not difficult. but i want to do something nicer than that.

this is an idea that i have copied from the Carlton brochure, not too shabby but not original enough.

Go for unusual angles, close-ups and nicely cropped abstract stuff. Loads of fun.

Yes it's the 60 micro. The background is just the floor of my room.

well, a fabric covered black binder makes a good background sometimes...This was done in my room with a point and shoot because i was kinda lazy to get the SLR...

If you view the EXIF of the image, you'll noticed the lens that was used to take with the picture with and also other information such as camera, exposure settings, and much more.
