I'm using a MP90 and currently have 20lbs with BG65Ti. is that too low of a tension for the combo? I feel that there's less control like I don't really get the feel of where the shuttle is gonna land when I hit it cuase it seems like the shuttle gets launched further than expected thanks
From what you say, yes, the tension is too low. If you are going to restring the racquet soon, just up 2lb if it further by a little. If by a lot, up 3 lb.
You could raise it to 26 lbs since it is JP coded! Maybe too steep of a jump but you coudl do up by 2lbs or 3lbs then go up from there.
hey art, its henry here. yea, go restring your racket buddy. 20 lbs is too low for good control. I am going to restring mine as well soon.
But i heard theres no difference in quality between the coutry codes, just some marketing strategy.Correct me if i am wrong.
isn't JP rackets and other distribution coded rackets made in the same factories in japan? Or are they made in different factories and may have different quality issues?
Should I choose a different string if I up the tension, I don't know if Tad's have BG65Ti. it's not listed on their site. If they don't have it shold I used Yonex's recommended BG68Ti? and wut tension should I use?
From wut I've heard, JP rackets have tighter quality tests than the other rackets that's distributed to other countries. So in short they keep the better ones in japan and send out the not so good ones doesn't make a difference to me since I got them for way cheaper price in japan. Cheaper than the CD ones in canada by over 100 bucks! so anyone going to japan, buy some rackets I went to Windsor Racket Sports in japan, full selection awesome stuff
Windsor Racket Sport, The one I went to was in Shinjuku tokyo my mp90 cost about 152 canadian dollars. so times than by 7 and u get hkd. but that's because currency is different now over here in canada mp99 CD cost 250 bucks + tax
sorry it's windsor racket shop search for it on google http://www.windsorracket.co.jp/shop/shop_shinjyuku.html here's the address of the shinjuku shop
Pete, there are a few out there. Just a looking around a few shops for both Japan and HK, JP prices is cheaper than SP for various models.
