i am learning to use the kwun's finger power grip (holding the racket in little finger) for forehand shots. during the preparation, i can feel that the grip is loose enough.

how to initiate the forearm rotation to hit the shuttle with racket full face? by tightening the index and thumb fingers?

    thanks,

I was told to keep it fairly loose (just holding it by fingers and thumb) and just before contact, squeeze fingers and thumb together. The handle should be on your palm of your hand when you finish your stroke.
