    Hmm I am training at the gym monday and tuesdays, playing badminton wednesday, gym again thursday, badminton again friday, maybe gym or badminton saturday and then badminton training sunday....

    Feeling OKAY atm

    thats a lot of gym and badminton. Alternate days would be good. keeps the rythm going. focus on repetition would be better to avoid injury. Its more of fine tuning again. Just look at your favourite player (similar style to yours) and enhance on the strokes, movement, placing and contact points.

    The question to ask is whether you're improving constantly. There's this saying: "insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

    If you keep repeating the same things in your workout from week to week, you're not really improving are you? How do you compare feeling "okay" 6-7 times a week versus feeling "awesome" 1-3 times a week? It's not unusual for intermediate-advanced athletes to be slightly overtrained to the extent that they don't even know what "awesome" really feels like, and they won't voluntarily rest long enough to find out because of a fear of forgetting how to play.
