here's a question.........if there's a men team event between INA n MAS now like thomas cup, who would you bet your money on?? sorry to leave CHN out as no doubt, they will win.

WCH vs SS

MD
KKK vs MK
LWW vs Alvent

and are there any possible line up other than this?

and dont forget that MAS players tend to fail when they have tremendous perssure on them like in team events.

i'd say MAS have bigger chance in the MD department (2 points there)...... and probably nail another extra point from LCW to secure the win. but will LCW fail us again? WCH seems to be getting back on his form too.......lastly it's HH......well he is him, Mr. yoyo........i better put my hope on a pig to climb a tree (a tall coconut tree) than him securing a point for MAS.

Can't remember if a team event like TC enforces the line ups by ranking. If it does, then:
LCW v TH - 50:50
WCH v SDK - 52:48
HH or RS v SS - 45:55
KKK/TBH v MK/HS - 60:40
LWW/CTF v MK/HS - 55:45
Based on current form, I would say MAS takes the tie.

INA v CHN:
LD v TH - 50:50
BCL v SDK - 53:47
CJ v SS - 52:48
FHF/CY v MK/HS - 54:46
2nd CHN v MK/HS - 47:53
Match to CHN. However, INA always play well in a team event. I think it could be closer than CHN might want.

MAS v CHN:
LCW v LD - 50:50
WCH v BCL - 49:51
HH or RH v CJ - 44:56
KKK/TBH v FHF/CY - 52:48
LWW/CTF v 2nd CHN - 55:45
Match could swing either way. I think WCH's recent performance could place some doubts on the invincibility of BCL or CJ. I'd take WCH in my team without thinking twice. His experience, mental makeup and fighting spirit (very rare combo for a MAS player) makes him a very important cog in the MAS team.

I always prefer Msia vs Indonesia in team events rather than playing Korea or Den. Not only the battle btw players on court but also the battle btw fans as well, always full of drama lol!

INA wil have more advantage becoz they are playing in their home soil..
hard to say...its too early to have a prediction... have to wait for 2008 to know the players performance.....then we can predict the winner in the match....

we're taking into account that the rest of the MS of MAS will lose except for LCW. but dont forget 1st MS n MD of MAS always crack under tremendous pressure, and LWW/CTF loves to give the match away though having few match points............

Hafiz is not 2nd MS anymore. I don't think he is even in the Thomas Cup squad.

if HH is not in the squad anymore, who is?? there will no fun without mr.yoyo around........

i dont think they are going to put LWW/CTF in as 2nd pair though they are only 2nd after kkk/tbh. politics.........like how sidek brothers forced their youngest brother in the thomas cup squad in 1992 though he is not supposed to be in the reserves. Badminton would have been much much a better sport without those political bastards......

the dwarfs duo might replace lww/ctf. i felt ashamed as a Msian when i looked at these two clowns on court, u do give-me-five kind of thing when you scored an extraodinary points after long rally or amazing saves.........but these 2 clowns simply do it for the fun of it, when opponents made mistakes they do the high five thing, EVEN when they did mistakes and opponents scored a point, they also high five....... dumb ***.........

In a big event like Thomas Cup, the Indonesians will be geared up for a fight. I would put my money on the Indonesians winning.

If the venue is KL, I would say the Indonesians will win 3-2. If Jakarta, Indonesia 5-0.
